Brewers' Ryan Braun will only play left field and first base in 2018
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun will only play left field and first base, says Brewers manager Craig Counsell.
Per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt, Christian Yelich will primarily play left but could see some action in right. That could mean less time for Eric Thames and Domingo Santanta at first, barring a trade of some sort.
In 2017, Braun played the majority of his innings at third base with zero reps at first. He fielded .987 in 798 1/3 innings in left.
