Jose Altuve tallies three hits in Houston's Game 1 win
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve paced the Astros with three hits during Thursday's 5-2 win over the Kansas City Royals in Game 1 of the American League Division Series.
Altuve finished with 3-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored and a caught stealing. All three of Altuve's hits went for singles.
Altuve, who notched exactly 200 hits during the regular season, posted a .347 wOBA this year with a career-high 15 homers, which more than doubled his previous career-best mark of seven. The Astros and Royals tangle again Friday in Game 2 of the series.
