Collin McHugh goes six strong to stake Astros to lead
Houston Astros pitcher Collin McHugh twirled six strong innings in a quality start Thursday against the Kansas City Royals in Game 1 of the American League Division Series.
McHugh wasn't dominant -- only striking out one -- but he scattered four hits and one walk over six frames. Houston led 4-2 when McHugh was pulled.
McHugh posted a stellar 3.11 xFIP in 2014. He wasn't quite able to follow it up this season, finishing with a 3.91 xFIP.
