Rougned Odor scores three runs in Texas' ALDS Game 1 win

Texas Rangers infielder Rougned Odor went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and three runs scored in Thursday's 5-3 ALDS Game 1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

What It Means:

Odor was all over the place in this one, even knocking out Blue Jays' third baseman Josh Donaldson with a (unintentional) knee to the face on a double play attempt in the fourth inning. Twice he was hit by pitches from Blue Jays' ace David Price. He also hit a solo home run in the seventh inning to help provide the Rangers with a bit of a cushion.

In his second season, Odor posted a .334 wOBA with 16 jacks and an impressive .204 isolated slugging percentage. The 21-year-old second baseman will square off with Marcus Stroman in Friday's Game 2.
