Arizona's Paul Goldschmidt homers in regular season finale
Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a go-ahead two-run home run in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Houston Astros.
Goldschmidt struck a temporary blow to the Astros' playoff chances when he launched a go-ahead two-run homer in the seventh inning to snap a 3-3 tie. The Astros would ultimately sneak in to the final Wild Card spot thanks to an Angels loss.
The 28-year-old slugger finishes the 2015 regular season with a beautiful .321/.435/.570 triple-slash, 33 homers, 110 RBI and 21 steals. He'll be off the board early in 2016 drafts.
