Omar Infante drives in seven runs Thursday in Royals victory

Kansas City Royals second baseman Omar Infante went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, and seven RBI's Thursday as the Royals topped the Cleveland Indians, 8-4.

What It Means:

Obviously, the seven RBI's is a nod to those batting ahead of him, but Infante's individual performance was superb. The home run was a three-run shot off of Indians' starter Corey Kluber in the second inning. He added a double and a single, finishing a triple short of the cycle.

Where has this been all season? Infante's slash is criminally low this season at .221/.235/.320 with just 2 home runs in 453 plate appearances. His nERD rating is -2.30, ranking 390th in the league. Our projections are even worse as they see him hitting .217/.250/.261 the rest of the way.
