Eduardo Nunez (knee) is on Boston's roster for the ALDS
Boston Red Sox shortstop/third baseman Eduardo Nunez is listed on the ALDS roster against the Houston Astros.
Nunez appeared in just one game in the final three weeks of the regular season as he dealt with a problematic knee injury. He did feel good after Wednesday's workout, which bodes well for him getting a few starts against Houston's left-handed pitching.
It's unlikely that Nunez draws every start at third, with the presence of Rafael Devers' left-handed bat. But Nunez did hit .329 with 8 home runs in the second half, and sports a .290/.324/.427 slash line against lefty hurlers this season.
