Hyun-Jin Ryu might not be on the Dodgers' NLDS roster
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts suggested that pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu might be left off the team's NLDS roster, per Southern California News Group's J.P. Hoornstra.
The Dodgers will start Clayton Kershaw, Rich Hill, Yu Darvish and Alex Wood, in that order. Ryu could be available as a bullpen arm, but Roberts says that he would probably be uncomfortable in that role, adding "If he's on the roster, he starts."
In 24 starts, Ryu is 5-9 with a 4.74 FIP on the year. His 1.87 nERD is just 6th among Dodgers' pitchers in 2017.
