Jorge Polanco is out of the Twins' lineup on Friday
Minnesota Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco is getting a day off on Friday.
Polanco was one of the few regulars to not get a day off on Thursday, so he'll take a seat tonight. Eduardo Escobar is back at third base, and Ehire Adrianza is filling in at shortstop.
This season, Polanco is hitting .258/.314/.414 with 13 home runs and 13 stolen bases over 536 plate appearances. 10 of his home runs have come in the second half.
