Adrian Gonzalez (back) out for season
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez has been shut down for the final four games of the season.
What It Means:
Gonzalez's back was tight on Wednesday, and the Dodgers decided to shut him down for the rest of the regular season. The Dodgers have not yet said whether Gonzalez will make the playoff roster.
Gonzalez went 2-for-4 and hit his 3rd home run of the season on Tuesday.
