San Diego Padres shortstop Erick Aybar is not starting on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Yangervis Solarte will move to shortstop while Carlos Asuaje draws the start at second base in tonight's series finale against left-hander Rich Hill and the Dodgers. Aybar is hitless in his last 12 appearances at the plate.
