Atlanta's Nick Markakis not starting on Wednesday
Atlanta Braves outfielder Nick Markakis is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the New York Mets.
With the Braves well out of things in the National League playoff hunt, the veteran Markakis will get a rest as Lane Adams take over in right tonight.
Having tallied 8 home runs and 72 RBI on a .274 average, Markakis is projected for 6 hits, 2 walks and 3 RBI in 23 plate appearances over the duration of the regular season.
