Pirates' Sean Rodriguez is in the lineup on Wednesday
Pittsburgh Pirates utility man Sean Rodriguez is starting at shortstop on Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
Shortstop Jordy Mercer remains out with a day-to-day knee injury, so Rodriguez gets a chance to fill in. Max Moroff returns to the bench after starting the last two games. Rodriguez is batting eighth against Orioles right-hander Gabriel Ynoa.
Rodriguez is batting just .155/.274/.293 over 136 plate appearances this season. He costs $2,000 on FanDuel and is eligible at second base.
