Kennys Vargas out of lineup on Tuesday for Twins
Minnesota Twins first baseman/designated hitter Kennys Vargas is not starting on Tuesday against the Cleveland Indians.
Joe Mauer will play first base and Robbie Grossman will start at DH versus right-hander Josh Tomlin and the Indians in tonight's series opener. It's just a breather for Vargas, who is slashing .263/.323/.461 with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, and 33 runs scored across 249 plate appearances this season.
Vargas is averaging 8.8 FanDuel points per game in 2017 (71 games).
