Zack Greinke to start the NL Wild Card Game for Arizona
Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Zack Greinke will be the starting pitcher in the NL Wild Card Game on October 4, per Jack Magruder of FanRagSports.com.
Greinke gets the nod over Robbie Ray in the win-or-go-home game next Wednesday. Greinke is scheduled to make his next start on Wednesday but could see it moved back to lineup up the Wild Card start to fall on normal rest.
Greinke has gone 17-6 with a 3.18 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 211 strikeouts in 198 1/3 innings pitched this season.
