Corey Seager (ankle, elbow) out of Dodgers' Thursday lineup
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is not in the lineup on Thursday as he deals with a pair of injuries.
Seager has been easing his way back from an elbow issue, but he also fouled a ball off his ankle last night. That's more likely the cause for Seager's absence today, but he was already expected to get routine rest days down the stretch. In his stead, Logan Forsythe will move to short as Chase Utley reenters at second.
After an 0-for-5 night on Wednesday, our models have Seager pegged for 1 home run, 6 RBI and a .316 average over 44 plate appearances the rest of the year.
