Raffy Lopez taking a seat Tuesday for Toronto
Toronto Blue Jays catcher Rafael Lopez is back on the bench Tuesday against the Kansas City Royals.
What It Means:
Lopez went 1-for-3 with a two-out, 2-RBI single on Sunday in a start behind the plate. However, veteran Russell Martin is serving as the backstop on Tuesday, and batting seventh against Ian Kennedy.
Our models project Lopez for a .250 batting average over limited at bats remaining this season.
