Angels' Brandon Phillips (side) is out of the lineup on Saturday
Los Angeles Angels second baseman Brandon Phillips (side) will not start Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers.
Phillips was lifted from Friday's game with tightness in his side, and will sit out on Saturday. Cliff Pennington will take his place at second base and bat ninth.
For the rest of the season, our models project Phillips to hit .293 with 1 home run, 8 runs, 6 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases over 62 plate appearances.
