Chris Herrman out of Diamondbacks' Saturday lineup
Arizona Diamondbacks catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann is absent from the starting lineup Saturday versus the San Francisco Giants.
What It Means:
After spelling Chris Iannetta a night ago, Herrmann will return to the lineup with lefty Madison Bumgarner controlling the rubber this evening in San Francisco.
As the second catcher in Arizona's catching rotation, Herrmann is expected to contribute 1 home run and 3 RBI on a .227 average the rest of the way this season.
