Salvador Perez sitting out Friday for Kansas City
Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez is out of the lineup on Friday against the Cleveland Indians.
The Royals lost in dramatic fashion on Thursday, which gave the Indians their record 22nd straight win. Drew Butera will be behind the plate and batting ninth on Friday as the Royals go up against righty Trevor Bauer trying to break the streak.
Our models project Perez for a .259 batting average, with 2 home runs, 8 RBI, and 7 runs scored over 58 plate appearances remaining this season.
