Travis d'Arnaud is out Friday for the Mets
New York Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud is absent from the team's Friday lineup versus the Atlanta Braves.
It appears that the Mets are starting to rotate their catchers on a poor consistent basis down the stretch. With that, d'Arnaud will be on the bench as Kevin Plawecki catches and hits fourth tonight.
After going 1-for-3 with a solo dinger last night, look for d'Arnaud to tally 1 home run, 2 doubles and 4 RBI over 40 plate appearances the rest of the year.
