Jesus Sucre back on the bench Friday for the Rays
Tampa Bay Rays catcher Jesus Sucre is not in Friday's starting lineup against the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Sucre went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in Wednesday's start. But he will return to a bench role tonight as Wilson Ramos opposes the Red Sox' Chris Sale.
As the club's backup catcher, Sucre is projected for just 5 hits, 2 RBI and 2 runs over the remainder of the 2017 season.
