Cubs push Dan Haren's start to Sunday
Chicago Cubs pitcher Dan Haren will have his start pushed back to Sunday.
Haren was scheduled to pitch Saturday, but manager Joe Maddon moved him back a day because of the weather conditions in Philadelphia. Left-hander Travis Wood will start in his place.
Haren, who turns 35 next week, is nearing the end of the road. His FIP sits at 4.82, the worst mark of his career. He posted a 4.09 FIP in each of the past two seasons. Haren did spin a gem in his last outing, blanking the St. Louis Cardinals over seven innings.
