Padres' Hector Sanchez starting on Wednesday night
San Diego Padres catcher Hector Sanchez will serve as the club's designated hitter on Wednesday against the Minnesota Twins.
Sanchez hasn't made a start in a week, but today he's in at the DH spot as Matt Szczur goes to the bench and Yangervis Solarte moves over to third base.
At the minimum cost of $2,000, you could find a worse dart throw. Facing righty Ervin Santana, Sanchez hits fifth with his Padres implied at 4.11 runs this evening.
