Zack Cozart is out Friday for Reds
Cincinnati Reds shortstop Zack Cozart is sitting out Friday against the New York Mets.
Cozart has played in every game this week, so he'll get Friday off for the Reds. Jose Peraza is the starting shortstop, and he'll bat out of the second spot against right-hander Seth Lugo.
Our models project Cozart for a .290 batting average, with 2 home runs, 9 RBI, and 10 runs scored over 71 plate appearances remaining this season.
