Justin Bour (oblique) could return to Marlins on Friday
Miami Marlins first baseman Justin Bour (oblique) could return to the club's active roster on Friday.
Bour, who landed on the disabled list on July 25 with a severe right oblique strain, has been playing rehab games for Double-A Jacksonville during their Southern League playoff run. He'll be in their lineup again tonight before making his potential return to the Marlins' big league roster on Friday night against the Atlanta Braves.
Prior to being sent to the DL, Bour posted a .289/.366/.548 slash with a .914 OPS while turning in 21 home runs, 63 RBI, and 39 runs scored across 339 plate appearances (87 games).
