Chicago White Sox outfielder Leury Garcia (back) is not in the lineup on Friday against the Detroit Tigers.
What It Means:
Garcia had to leave Thursday's game in the fourth inning because of back stiffness. He was replaced by Alen Hanson, who is staring for him on Friday and leading off against Justin Verlander.
