Michael Conforto (shoulder) placed on Mets' disabled list
New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left shoulder dislocation and posterior capsule tear.
Conforto will miss the rest of the season, after suffering the injury while swinging in Thursday's game. If he does need surgery, Newsday's Marc Craig is reporting that Conforto could be out for 4-6 weeks. Brandon Nimmo and Juan Lagares will fill in for Conforto over the rest of the season.
