Lewis Brinson recalled, starting Wednesday for Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers recalled outfielder Lewis Brinson from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

What It Means:

Brinson will start in center field and bat seventh versus Nationals southpaw Gio Gonzalez. The 23-year-old top prospect struggled mightily in his previous big league stint, going 3-for-31 (.097) with 13 strikeouts in 35 plate appearances (14 games), but the Brewers are hoping for much better results down the stretch. Look for Brinson to start against the majority of left-handers, as well as some righties. Brett Phillips will grab a seat on the bench on Wednesday night.

numberFire's models project Brinson to score 7.1 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,000 on Wednesday, so perhaps he could be worth a look as a value play in a matchup with a strong park factor (1.019).
