Eric Fryer catching on Thursday afternoon for St. Louis
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Eric Fryer is starting against the New York Mets on Thursday.
It's the first start of the second half for the 31-year-old backstop, as Fryer will catch Cardinals right-hander Lance Lynn while batting eighth versus fellow righty Seth Lugo and the Mets. Yadier Molina is just getting a breather.
numberFire's models project Fryer to score 5.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,100 on Thursday, so he's not the most attractive option in a matchup with a poor park factor (0.929).
