Kang drives in two as Pirates beat Rockies
Jung Ho Kang went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Colorado Rockies 5-3 on Friday.
That makes his 47th and 48th RBI's of the year, as his hits proved to be the crucial factors in the Pirates win.
Kang, acquired over the offseason from the Korean Baseball Organization League, is turning out to be a great investment for the Pirates. His first season in the MLB is seeing him produce a .291/.365/.460 slash line and double-digit home runs, excellent for a player with middle infield eligibility.
