Phillies' Howie Kendrick is likely headed for the disabled list
Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Howie Kendrick (hamstring) is probably going to be placed on the disabled list according to Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com.
Kendrick hasn't played in the field in a week and even though he was scheduled to DH again on Wednesday, he was not in the lineup. Ty Kelly and Andres Blanco will likely share duties at second base while Kendrick is sidelined.
Before going down with injury, our models projected Kendrick for a .279 average with 2 home runs and 17 RBI over 200 plate appearances remaining this year.
