Rangers' shortstop Elvis Andrus goes 2-for-4 in win

Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus went 2-for-4 with a double in Thursday afternoon's win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

What It Means:

The double was Andrus' 24th of the season. While he's hitting just .259/.305/.353 with six homers, 47 RBI and 53 runs scored, the numbers are much nicer since the All-Star Break. Entering Thursday's contest, he was slashing .291/.311/.411 in the 37 games that the Rangers had played following the Midsummer Classic.

Andrus sports a lowly .286 wOBA, which ranks 18th out of 29 shortstops with at least 300 plate appearances. The rest of the way, we project him to have a .624 OPS with five steals
