Reds' Brandon Finnegan makes an early exit with an apparent injury
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Brandon Finnegan was removed from Monday's start against the St. Louis Cardinals after suffering an apparent injury.
Finnegan was lifted while facing his first batter of the fourth inning after having a conversation with Reds' manager Bryan Price and a trainer. This was Finnegan's first start since mid-April due to a trapezius injury, and the team will likely provide an update on today's injury after the game.
Finnegan has only played in four games in 2017, posting a 4.15 ERA and 4.78 xFIP.
