Nationals recall Wilmer Difo from Triple-A
Washington Nationals infielder Wilmer Difo was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Friday.
What It Means:
Difo was optioned to Triple-A just over 10 days ago. His return will provide depth for the Washington infield.
In his 10 games in the minors, Difo slashed just .175/.267/.225 with 6 strikeouts across 45 plate appearances. He hasn't been much better (.184/.245/.264) in the bigs.
