Mariners' Taylor Motter sitting Wednesday out
Seattle Mariners infielder Taylor Motter is not in Wednesday's starting lineup.
Jean Segura was activated from the disabled list today, and will start at shortstop Wednesday night. Motter spent most of his time at short filling in for Segura, so this bumps him to a backup role once more.
Our models project Motter to hit .209 with 6 homers, 25 runs, 24 RBI, and 2 stolen bases in 241 more plate appearances in 2017.
