Cubs' Ben Zobrist dealing with a nagging wrist injury
Chicago Cubs second baseman/outfielder Ben Zobrist is dealing with a nagging wrist injury.
This explains Zobrist's absence from the starting lineup on Tuesday. He has been dealing with pain in his left wrist since late may, and while it doesn't sound like a serious issue, the 36-year-old may end up getting a couple days off to recover.
Assuming he doesn't miss significant time with the injury, numberFire's models project Zobrist to hit .273 with 10 home runs, 47 runs scored and 44 RBI in 358 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
