Cubs' Wade Davis placed on paternity leave list
Chicago Cubs closer Wade Davis has been placed on the paternity leave list.
Davis can miss between one and three games on the paternity list. Look for Koji Uehara and Carl Edwards to potentially earn save opportunities in Davis' absence.
Davis has been outstanding this season, posting a 0.89 ERA, 2.54 SIERA, 35.5 percent strikeout rate, 9.2 percent walk rate and 0.74 WHIP while notching 12 saves in 21 games (20 1/3 innings pitched).
