What It Means:
With the Seattle Mariners trotting out lefty Ariel Miranda on Sunday, Morrison gets a day off with Rickie Weeks filling in at first base.
The lefty-swinging Morrison is hitting just .227 with three home runs in 50 plate appearances against southpaws this season.
