Jedd Gyorko (paternity leave) out again for St. Louis
St. Louis Cardinals infielder Jedd Gyorko will miss his second straight game on Saturday due to paternity leave as the Cards take on the Chicago Cubs.
With Gyorko out and Matt Carpenter sitting, the Cards will roll out a makeshift infield against Jon Lester. Jhonny Peralta is at third, Aledmys is playing short, Paul DeJong is at second and Jose Martinez is playing first.
Gyorko has been a monster this year. He boasts a .392 wOBA and 8 bombs through 173 plate appearances. He's scheduled to be back in the lineup Sunday.
