Pirates' Andrew McCutchen swats walk-off shot versus Arizona
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen hit a walk-off solo homer to lift the Pirates over the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 on Monday.
The Pirates entered the ninth inning with a 3-1 lead but closer Tony Watson gave up a two-run homer to Chris Iannetta to tie the game. In the bottom half of the frame, McCutchen led off with the walk-off shot off of Archie Bradley. He finished the day 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored.
McCutchen is batting .215/.290/.398 with eight home runs, five stolen bases, and 23 runs scored in 207 plate appearances this season.
