White Sox giving Leury Garcia Monday off versus Boston
Chicago White Sox infielder Leury Garcia is getting a breather for Monday's matchup with the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Adam Engel will start in center field and bat ninth versus Red Sox left-hander David Price. Tim Anderson is replacing Garcia in the leadoff spot for the White Sox.
Garcia is slashing .276/.325/.462 with six home runs and four steals in 159 plate appearances (44 games) this season.
