Giants plan on Madison Bumgarner (shoulder) to begin throwing Friday

San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner (shoulder) could begin a throwing program on Friday.

What It Means:

Bumgarner's injuries have nearly healed now it is time for him to get back into playing shape. By starting throwing on Friday, he starts the likely two-month process towards returning to big league action.
