Tigers place Ian Kinsler (hamstring) on disabled list
The Detroit Tigers have placed second baseman Ian Kinsler on the 10-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain.
Kinsler has been playing through a hamstring injury, but he apparently injured it further during Friday's game. While Kinsler is on the shelf, look for Dixon Machado and Andrew Romine to take care of second base duties.
Kinsler currently owns a .239/.365/.331 slash line with a .309 wOBA over 181 plate appearances in 2017. He has four homers, 11 RBI's and 30 runs scored on the year.
