Diamondbacks holding out Yasmany Tomas (hip) versus Brewers
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Yasmany Tomas (hip) is not in the lineup on Thursday.
Tomas will miss his second straight game as he deals with some tightness in his hip flexor. The club believes the injury is minor and consider him day-to-day. Chris Herrmann is filling in, in left, and batting seventh against Zach Davies and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Herrmann is 5-for-13 with three home runs in his last four games but is batting just .208 in 70 plate appearances for the season.
