Manuel Margot (calf) won't play Thursday for San Diego
San Diego Padres outfielder Manuel Margot (calf) is out of the lineup Thursday versus the New York Mets.
Margot left Wednesday's game early with tightness in his calf. He is still considered day-to-day as the Padres take it easy with the young outfielder. Matt Szczur is handling center field duties while Allan Cordoba moves up to the leadoff spot versus Rafael Montero and the Mets.
Cordoba is batting .300 with a .355 OBP and three home runs in 76 plate appearances this season.
