Colorado Rockies infielder DJ LeMahieu is out of the starting lineup on Thursday afternoon against the Philadelphia Phillies.
What It Means:
Alexi Amarista will start at second base for the Rockies and hit seventh against Phillies right-hander Vince Velasquez. It doesn't seem like anything more than a standard day off for LeMahieu.
LeMahieu is hitting .290/.365/.382 across 209 plate appearances (48 games) this season with a pair of home runs and three stolen bases.
