Albert Pujols getting a breather as Angels close series with Rays

Los Angeles Angels designated hitter Albert Pujols is getting the day off Thursday afternoon against the Tampa Bay Rays.

What It Means:

Pujols will take a seat for Thursday's series finale at the Rays' Tropicana Field. Mike Trout is taking over at designated hitter and will bat second versus Tampa Bay right-hander Matt Andriese. Cameron Maybin is leading things off for the Angels and starting in center field.
