Tommy Milone (knee) won't make scheduled start Saturday for Mets
New York Mets pitcher Tommy Milone will not make his scheduled Saturday start against the Pittsburgh Pirates due to a knee injury.
It's unknown when the injury occurred, but Josh Smoker figures to take Milone's spot in the Mets' rotation on Saturday. He's given up 12 combined earned runs over seven total innings in his last two outings.
Milone owns a 7.91 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 18.2 strikeout percentage in 33 innings this season with a 1-2 record.
