Giants' Johnny Cueto admits to multiple blisters in right hand
San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto told reporters late Tuesday that he has also developed a blister on his right index finger.
Cueto is also dealing with a blister on his right middle finger, but the right-hander said he will continue pitching through it. He allowed four runs on five hits over six innings Tuesday while striking out eight and walking one in a loss to the Chicago Cubs.
On the season, Cueto is 4-4 with a 4.64 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 22.4 strikeout percentage across 64 innings.
